The Oyster Bowl Record is Smashed!!
Congratulations new Oyster Bowl Champion and new Oyster Bowl Record holder Jayson Taylor. Jason slurped down 89 oysters in 2 minutes to win this years grand prize of a trip for two for four nights to either Cancun or Punta Cana.
It was an amazing event. The 50 degree weather brought out about 400 spectators, and our record number of contestants (82).
Barbara Devaney won the women's division with 75. I'll post the top 10 on Wednesday.

Oyster Bowl Sightings
Things are getting serious around Blue Point Grill. Oyster Bowl VI champ Roy Cherris, Oyster Bowl co-record holder (83) Barbara Devaney, and the entire "Slurple Haze" team have all been seen at the BPG practicing for this Sundays main event.
The results...Roy & Barbara are ready!!! Team Slurple Haze....well, they have as much as a shot as the NY Giants against the Patriots!!! But they sure were trash talking Team Mathematica!!
